Where are the plants grown?
In my 3x4m dorm room aka grow house.
What grow media or soil do you use?
Each plant is grown from seed in a peat moss plug for 2 weeks. Once sprouted, the seeded plugs are gently transferred into a foam cup filled with premium grade potting mix.
Do you use pesticides/herbicides?
I do not use any pesticides, as I sleep within my greenhouse/dorm.
Can you tell me about the grow conditions?
All plants are grown indoors to ensure optimum growth and pest-free status. 18/6 hour cycle of day/night - using fluorescent lights and blackout curtains. My room is centrally heated and I hand water each plant every alternate day. The plants look great and get well looked after in my dorm room.
Why are you selling [basil/tomatos/etc]?
I work 8 to 5pm Mon - Friday. And every second weekend as well. I look forward to moving out of student/communal living as soon as I can afford it. Even a few dollars for a plant sold makes a difference for me.
